Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced Law No. 17 of 2025 today, making it easier and more rewarding to hand in lost and abandoned property 👏
Violators can face fines up to AED 200,000, while those who return lost items to the police can earn rewards, and owners can reclaim their property 💵
The law defines lost property as money or valuables unintentionally lost by their owner.
It makes it easier and fairer to report and return lost property, helping both the person who finds it and the owner 🙏
