Dubai’s First Crewed Air Taxi Has Landed At Al Maktoum International Airport

• The city’s first-ever crewed air taxi flight has officially taken off from Margham and landed at Al Maktoum International Airport, marking a historic step towards the official air taxi launch in 2026.

• The announcement came straight from HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, after he reviewed the RTA’s latest transport and infrastructure projects.

• He also announced that the city’s first vertiport, a special take-off and landing hub for air taxis, is already under development near Dubai International Airport 🙌

• Once officially launched, these air taxis will connect with Dubai’s wider public transport network. It’ll give commuters a fast, efficient, and eco-friendly way to travel across the city… minus the traffic! 🚁
