Emaarās Mohamed Alabbar Shares Why He Likes To Hire And Work With Indians
The founder of Emaar Properties recently made headlines after sharing why he prefers hiring Indians⦠and his answer came down to one thing: work ethic.
Speaking at the Make it in the Emirates summit in Abu Dhabi, Alabbar spoke about resilience, discipline, and what it really takes for businesses to survive tough times. But one particular line from his talk instantly caught everyoneās attention online.
āHard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard⦠and this is why I like to hire Indians, because they answer the phone even at one oāclock in the morning.ā
According to him, success isnāt just about intelligence or talent⦠itās about showing up, staying disciplined, checking your work constantly, and pushing through challenges even during uncertain times.
Some people agreed with his point about discipline and hustle culture, especially in high-pressure industries where responsiveness matters. Others debated whether being available 24/7 should really be considered the benchmark.
