Applying Makeup Or Fixing Hair While Driving Could Lead To An AED 800 Fine
Applying makeup, fixing hair, or doing any kind of personal grooming while driving is officially considered a distracted driving offence. It falls under the same category as anything else that shifts focus away from the road.
Authorities are stressing that driving needs full attention at all times, no multitasking, no exceptions. Even small actions that feel harmless can turn into big risks when you’re on the move. Drivers caught doing these activities can face an AED 800 fine. Depending on the case, black points may also be added to the license.
It’s not ONLY about the fine either, but repeated or risky behaviour can also lead to more serious penalties.
