flydubai Incident: A Mid-Air Security Scare Forced A Dubai To Tel Aviv Plane To Make An Emergency Landing In Saudi Arabia

• The incident, which involved an altercation on the flight deck, saw the incredible bravery of Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar, who, despite injuries, ensured the safety of the 173 passengers.

• Passengers reported sudden, massive turbulence, with the plane dropping for 20 to 30 seconds, then balancing, only to drop again for another 10 seconds before stabilizing. Flightradar24 data from Wednesday, September 30, showed the aircraft at 34,000 ft at 05:20:25, dropping to 15,375 ft by 05:24:50.

• Amidst this chaos, passengers noticed an incident broke out in the front of the aircraft, that left both the pilot and co-pilot injured.

• Following this intense ordeal, Flydubai flights to Tel Aviv have been temporarily suspended as UAE authorities launched a full investigation into the incident, aiming to uncover all the details behind the mid-air drama.
