Husband Cleared Of Murder Charges In Death of UAE-Based Indian Woman 👩🏻⚖️
A 30-year-old Indian woman from Kerala, Athulya Sekhar, was found dead in her Sharjah apartment on her b’day, back in July 2025 😔
Her family filed a police complaint in India, accusing Athulya’s husband of brutally assaulting her 🗣️
Investigation found videos of the husband physically and mentally abusing Athulya for years, and authorities continue to collect evidence from Sharjah 📑
According to local reports from India, their courts cleared him off murder accusations on grounds of insufficient evidence...❌
However, the husband is still charged for abetment to suicide 🙌
Athulya’s body was repatriated to Kerala on July 29 and laid to rest with her 10-year-old daughter performing the final rites... 😓
