UAE Residents Welcome Hamas’ And Israel’s Decision To Release Hostages Under Trump’s Peace Plan 🕊️

  • Last night The White House shared an announcement that could finally bring an end to the two-year long genocide in Gaza. And surely, all eyes were on Gaza this time 👀

  • After the US President Donald Trump proposed the Gaza Peace Plan, backed by the Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Hamas issued a statement agreeing to release all Israeli hostages captured during the October 7, 2023 attacks 🥷

  • Within the statement, the group also appreciated the efforts of the Arab, Islamic, and international countries in “ending the war on Gaza…rejecting the occupation of the strip, and preventing the displacement of our people.” 🏚️

  • Right after the statement, Middle East’s undenied attention was on the updates and it became the trending topic of discussion on platforms such as X, with over 71,000 posts from the UAE within hours 🕑

  • The White House also shared a couple of posts with Trump announcing that he “looks forward to having the hostages come home” and called for Israel to immediately stop the bombing of Gaza 💣

  • However bombings still continue in Gaza. Dozens of Palestinians, including two children, have been killed in strikes hours even after the US announcement 😕
