UAE Has Suspended Flights By Iranian Airlines Until Further Notice ❌

• The UAE has suspended all flights operated by Iranian airlines to and from the UAE until further notice.

• The General Civil Aviation Authority said the decision took effect on Thursday, and was made in compliance with a US ban prohibiting Iranian airlines from operating at airports across the world 🌎

• The GCAA said it would continue to update relevant authorities and the public on any developments related to the suspension, depending on wider geopolitical and regulatory shifts 🙌

• The move follows Tuesday’s announcement from the UAE Central Bank that Bank Melli Iran had been barred from conducting any financial transactions between its UAE branches and Iran after investigations found the Tehran-based lender had failed to comply with anti-money laundering regulations.

Dubai Comedy Festival Is Bringing 10 Days Of Laughs To The City 🙌 

The Dubai Comedy Festival is back for its 7th edition, bringing 10 days of stand-up, stories, sketches and plenty of questionable life decisions to stages across the city.

From October 9 to 18, Dubai will become a comedy playground with 50+ shows in multiple languages, bringing together some of the biggest names in comedy alongside rising regional and local talent. And the lineup is seriously stacked. You can catch Mo Gilligan, Katherine Ryan, Munawar Faruqui, Rafi Bastos, Zarna Garg, Vir Das, Shane Todd, John Achkar, Enissa Amani, Mario Bassil & Friends, Kings & Queens. and more taking to the stage throughout the festival 🎤😂

Whether your comedy taste is English, Arabic, Hindi, Russian or something in between, there’s a show for you.

The festival will take over iconic venues including Dubai Opera, New Covent Garden Theatre and Coca-Cola Arena, turning the city into one giant laugh track for 10 days.
