UAE Plans To Ramp Up To 80 Flights Per Day
The UAE is gradually restoring flight operations as regional airspace closures continue to impact travel schedules across the Gulf.
Officials confirmed that operations are being managed in phases, with capacity increasing step by step under strict safety oversight.
During a media briefing, the Minister of Tourism and Economy, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri said that with emergency routes now in place, up to 48 flights can currently be handled per hour.
Since March 1, a total of 17,498 passengers have travelled on 60 flights under the current operational measures. In the upcoming phase, more than 80 flights are scheduled to operate daily as capacity increases.
The UAE is also covering visa costs for travellers affected by flight delays. If you have a flight coming up or it’s been rescheduled, keep your phone on loud and keep checking for updates by your airline!
