• Fuel prices in the UAE are set to increase across all categories starting Tuesday, September 1, 2026, breaking a period of brief relief for motorists as geopolitical tensions continue to impact regional energy supply chains.

• The Fuel Price Committee announced the revised rates on Monday morning, reflecting the ongoing volatility in global crude oil markets:

  • Super 98: AED 3.80 / liter (up from AED 3.60)

  • Special 95: AED 3.69 / liter (up from AED 3.49)

  • E-Plus 91: AED 3.61 / liter (up from AED 3.41)

  • Diesel: AED 4.30 / liter (up from AED 3.80)

• The September price hike follows a minor increase in August and comes after a brief dip in July, which temporarily paused four consecutive months of steep rises.
