A Resident Lost A Sapphire Worth Thousands Of Dollars In A Mall In Dubai & Actually Got It Back!

• A resident had been carrying a sapphire while navigating one of Dubai’s busiest retail destinations, hubs known for attracting tens of thousands of visitors daily.

• It wasn’t until he had returned home and checked his belongings that shock set in: the sapphire was gone.

• Driven by desperation, he immediately turned around and rushed back to the mall, bracing himself for the likely reality that the treasure was lost forever.

• Instead of being pocketed or swept away, the brilliant blue gem had been spotted by a fellow shopper or staff member. Recognising its potential value, the finder did what many might consider remarkable in a venue so crowded: they immediately handed it over to the mall’s security and Lost & Found department.

• When the distressed owner arrived at customer service to inquire about his missing gem, he was stunned to learn that it had already been safely logged, secured, and stored, waiting for its owner to claim it.

• After verifying ownership details, the sapphire was returned intact!
