“HOME AT LAST”: UAE Authorities Help Abandoned 2-Year-Old Child Return To The Philippines

• A precious little 2-year-old Filipino girl, who spent years under dedicated care in Dubai after being abandoned, has finally made her way back home to the Philippines 🇵🇭

• Thanks to some incredible teamwork and a whole lot of heart. This little one’s journey is truly a testament to compassion and international cooperation, proving that love and care can bridge any distance ❤️

• Abandoned at infancy, the little girl had been living at the Family Village in Al Warqa, Dubai since she was just four months old 👩🏼‍🍼

• The shelter provided her a safe, nurturing, and caring environment, becoming her temporary home away from home… and ensuring she was well-cared for every step of the way 🫂

• The big moment arrived on July 9th when the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), working hand-in-hand with the UAE Authorities, accompanied her all the way from Dubai ✈️

• The journey culminated with her arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), and now the little one is formally under the protective custody and care of the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development 🥹
