The UAE Revokes A University In Ajman’s Licence Over Repeated Breaches ❌

Students at Ajman’s Horizon University College are facing a major change after the UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) revoked the institution’s licence and programme accreditation.
The ministry said the decision followed “severe and repeated” violations of the UAE’s academic and regulatory frameworks. While the college must now stop all higher education activities, officials say plans are already in place to protect affected students.
The decision brings all operations at Horizon University College to an immediate stop. The institution is no longer allowed to teach students, recruit new applicants, promote academic programmes, award qualifications, or issue academic transcripts.
