Dubai Announces 4-Day Work Week And Reduced Hours For Summer!

• Dubai’s government employees are in for a GREAT NEWS this summer! The city has rolled out flexible working hours to give employees some much-needed relief this summer 🌞

• Running from June 29 to September 10, ‘Our Flexible Summer’ introduces two working models that allow government entities to balance employee needs with operational requirements while maintaining business continuity 🙌

• Beyond its workplace benefits, the initiative also helps employees spend more quality time with their families during the summer period, strengthening family bonds and supporting overall wellbeing and social cohesion, which also aligns with the ‘Year of Family’ goals of 2026 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

• The two models set on the table: Model One: Employees in this group get to work seven hours per day from Monday to Thursday, and then four and a half hours on Friday. Talk about a head start on the weekend!

• Model Two: For those in the second group, it’s eight hours per day from Monday to Thursday, with Friday being a day off! 🫡

• These options are designed to give government entities the flexibility to choose what works best for their teams and operations 🥰
