The New UAE-Approved Weight-Loss Pill Will Be More Affordable Than Injectables 💊

• The UAE has become only the second country in the world to approve a new daily weight-loss pill, marking a significant step in tackling obesity.

• The treatment, called Foundayo, is expected to be available in the Emirates from May 2026 📆

• This new treatment comes as a once-daily pill, and will only be available via prescription and under medical supervision.

• Eligibility is tightly controlled:

  → Adults with a BMI of 30 or higher
  → Those with a BMI of 27+ if they already have related health conditions (Like Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, or joint issues).
