A Dubai Driver Crashed Into a Boat Under the Influence of Crystal Meth

• A common traffic accident in Dubai turned into something much more serious after police discovered the driver was allegedly under the influence of drugs 💊

• The incident happened in Al Qusais, where a driver crashed into a parked boat before officers found crystal methamphetamine in his possession 🤯

• Investigators found that the driver had been reversing carelessly when he collided with a boat parked outside its owner’s home. The impact caused damage to both the boat and the driver’s vehicle 🚗

• A precautionary search led to the discovery of a transparent crystalline substance inside his wallet. The substance was later analysed by forensic experts, who confirmed it was crystal methamphetamine, a prohibited narcotic under UAE law 🫣

• The Dubai Traffic Court found the driver guilty of possessing narcotic substances for personal use, consuming drugs, driving under the influence of narcotics and causing damage to another person’s property through negligent driving 🚘

• The driver was sentenced to jail, fined and had his driving license suspended for three months 🚨
